We recommend the following ceilidh venues because:
They have a reasonable size dance floor of good quality and a reasonable size stage
The acoustics are OK

If you are considering other venues, look at the dance floor and ask yourself the following questions:
Is the dance floor big enough? - how many eightsome reels can it take?
Is the dance floor of good quality i.e. NOT carpet or temporary tiles laid down
Is there an echo (not good)? - stand where the band is likely to be and SING  / SHOUT as loud as you can!
